Can Scout tailor a résumé to a job I found myself?
Yes. Paste the posting's URL and Scout fetches the description, drafts a résumé and cover letter customized to it, and scores the draft against it. The overnight sweep covers the jobs you have not found yet; the URL fetch covers the one you just did.
How does Scout match a résumé to the job description?
Scout reads the full posting, drafts the résumé from your career knowledge base, then compares draft to description the way an ATS would: keyword by keyword, skill by skill. It invents the skill groupings per job, never the facts. The report shows what matched, what is missing, and the percentage, so the fix happens before the send.
